This movement session is a practice of deep listening through your senses, awakening dormant codes of somatic cognition and unfolding authentic expression.
Breathing deeply and flowing freely~
Coming back Home within.

This dance floor will be a safe space to express your process to the outer worlds without needing words.
If you desire to converse, please move your conversation to the astroturf foyer outside the door, or take a breather for fresh air outside. Keep voices to a respectable volume when on the street.

All expressions are indeed welcome; please feel empowered to laugh, cry, scream and shout. This is a sober space, to embody your emotions fully without reliance on use of substance. Clear mind, centered hearts.

We are propagating a consent-based culture: please tune in with clear yeses and no's when engaging with others on the dancefloor. This is a judgement free zone. Here is a space to embody what's moving within you. No cameras or footage allowed. One of our team may take photos of the dj to share for their own profiles, yet this isn't a space for recording others in their movement journeys. This is a space of presence and acceptance of all that is.

This will be a space to move to the beat of your heart, the rhythm of the depths of your being, and the spaces in-between sounds.
Your movement is your authentic art, waiting to be poured out onto the canvas of space and time.

=Music=
~Tefa and -MK-~
Tefa and -MK- are a dynamic duo who have captivated audiences with their unique blend of music, spirituality and movement. Their journey began in 2021 when they crossed paths in Paxkan while co-producing the Healing Area for festivals in Canada. Since then, they have forged a deep connection as actors, spiritual individuals, and creative souls, later on as soulmates.
Marek, also known as -MK-, brings over a decade of experience as a DJ and musician, while Tefa brings her expertise as a therapist since 2015.
Together, they have created a space where people can come together to explore the depths of their being through music, dance, and spiritual connection. Since 2022, Tefa and -MK- have been hosting a monthly event of cacao and ecstatic dance at Paxkan Studio in Gastown.

~Stephanie Rose~
Stephanie Rose is the founder and creator of Rose Code Rituals and is a Rose medicine carrier, anointrix, womb and hair priestess, Yin yoga practitioner who works with the energies of Mary Magdalene, Mother Mary and shamanic spirit allies and elements to support her in her work. Her intention is to bring ritual back into peoples lives and help womban awaken and connect to their wombs, hearts and voices. you can learn more about her offerings here:

~Comfortable clothing for movement, water bottle, journal (optional) and an open heart and mind 😊

We will be providing fresh spring water from Silverdale Spring, Lynn Valley or Kangen water depending on the day. Stay hydrated with clean clear water~!

There will be a small vending area of superfood infused raw chocolates and herbal tinctures & herbs. Bring cash or etransfer for purchase if you feel like treating yourself!.

=Tickets=
Presale tickets are posted now for $25.
The price goes up at 8pm $35 the day before the event.
We will also accept $35 cash at the door if there is space in our capacity at the venue.

We are keeping the capacity low to allow space for fully expressive movement. We will keep the page updated when we are nearing capacity.
